1. Open up a PayPal account for her on-line. This will allow people to donate money who can't make it to her fund raiser, it's easier to donate, and they can donate using their credit cards.

2. Have a silent auction at the fund raiser. Ask businesses to donate gift certificates or items. 212 Market street, a massage parlor free massage, etc. Maybe people have items they can donate that they don't need or want anymore, like art work, pottery or antiques. Ask local artists to donate an item to auction. Lindsay probably knows a lot of people who would be willing to donate things. Lindsay could also auction off dance lessons.
3. Have a laptop at the fund raiser so people can log on to the internet and make donations via PayPal and/or pay for their auction wins.
4. Posters of a time line that document all the things Lindsay has choreographed or worked on over the years. Showing people how involved she has been with the community would help loosen some wallets.
